Cornell International Christian Fellowship (CICF)
CICF is a student led fellowship providing Christian International students opportunities for Christian fellowship and spiritual growth while they are at Cornell. It also welcomes non-Christian internationals, providing a warm environment for them investigate Christianity and to make Christian friends. Some American Christian students and volunteers with an interest in internationals also participate. The weekly fellowship meeting is Friday evening. The meeting starts at 6pm with dinner, followed by worship and Bible study. The new location is at Chesterton House (men's residence), 111-115 The Knoll, Ithaca (north campus area). Rides are not provided to the meeting (since it is on campus), but rides will be provided to get you home. During Winter and summer breaks, CICF meets in homes. For inquiries or questions, email Teddy Yesudasan at [email protected] |
Friendship PartnersThe Friendship Partner program matches American families (or individuals) with international students or scholars.. The student does not live with the family, but the family is expected to do something with the student about once a month. This allows the student to have a family away from home, as well as to practice speaking English and to learn American culture. Occasionally ISI plans group events that all families and students in the program are invited to attend.
If you are an international student and you want to sign up to have a friendship partner, fill out FP form If you are an American and want to participate as a friendship partner, fill out Volunteer form |
